Chautauqua County Book Read Online

RTPI is proud to join the organizations participating in The Chautauqua County Book Read — a new, county-wide initiative. Led by the YWCA of Jamestown and Chautauqua Institution, the purpose of this shared book read is to invite Chautauqua County residents, businesses, nonprofit agencies and organizations to be engaged citizens working towards a more inclusive and just society.

The 2022 selection is “Caste: The Origins of our Discontent” by Isabel Wilkerson. Each participant is encouraged to read the book and attend one book discussion between May 16-27 being hosted at a variety of locations (online or in person). On Tuesday, May 24, you’re invited to join us on ZOOM at 3-5 pm ET for a conversation co-facilitated by Megan Sorenson (RTPI’s Major Gifts Officer) and Sharon Hamilton (community member).
