
RTPI Bluebird Festival 2025
The Roger Tory Peterson Institute (RTPI) excited to present the 1st Annual Bluebird Festival, a fun and educational event celebrating Eastern Bluebirds on Saturday, June 14th from 11 am to 3 pm at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, 311 Curtis St in Jamestown, NY.
Attendees of the Festival can learn how to successfully attract nesting birds using bird houses and native plant landscaping, build a bluebird nestbox to take home ($5 donation – 1 kit per household), attend guided walks on the RTPI Bluebird Trail and learn to become citizen scientists as nest box monitors. Children’s nature art activities, a scavenger hunt, exhibits by local environmental groups and guest speakers will round out the day’s events.
This outdoor event is Free to the public, but registration is appreciated. We also invite you to come inside and tour through our current exhibitions, Art that Matters to the Planet: Wild America, and Wonders Out West: A Joyful Celebration of the Peterson Field Guide to Birds of Western North America by Lisa McLaughlin.
