Giving Tuesday 2022

To make a gift online, simply go to our Giving Tuesday donation page.

Your support on Giving Tuesday (November 29, 2022) nurtures the next generation of nature artists. With your help, we can bring early career nature artists to RTPI for a one-week residency to explore Roger Tory Peterson’s paintings, sketches, notes, and so much more. As a recent artist-in-residence told us, a week in the Peterson Collection can provide an artist with a career’s worth of inspiration. Your support will make it possible for us to bring two or more early career artists to RTPI within the next year. Please help us nurture the next generation of nature artists as artists-in-residence at RTPI.

Your support can:

Supply the Artist – $15 purchases some supplies for the artist to use while at RTPI
Feed the Artist – $35 covers food costs for one day
House the Artist – $75 provides one night’s accommodations
Pay the Artist – $200 covers one day of the week long stipend
Sponsor the Exhibition – $2,000 helps to ship and exhibit artworks that the artist produces based on time spent in the Peterson Collection

Our 2022 Artists-in-Residence were Alex Warnick (pictured on the right in the banner above) and Joseph Grice (pictured here). Both will have exhibitions at RTPI in 2023 featuring works inspired by their explorations of the Peterson Collection.
