First and foremost, Roger Tory Peterson was an artist. His artwork is on rotating display throughout the museum. With 1,500 original artworks in our Peterson Collection, we curate new exhibitions of his work throughout the year so there is always something new and inspiring to see – from his earliest field guide drawings, to his iconic Mill Pond Press paintings, to the original works he completed during his time as the first Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Fallingwater in the 1960’s.
