Doors Open Jamestown

Get ready to be a tourist in your own town! Doors Open Jamestown happens only once a year and offers residents of Chautauqua County and surrounding areas a chance to visit popular attractions and museums at no charge. With over 16 participating locations, there is lots to see and much to do.

RTPI is honored, once again, to open our doors to our community. Come join our staff for a full day of museum tours and activities for children of all ages. In addition to the work of Roger Tory Peterson, there are three nature art exhibitions currently on view: Curious by Nature: Works by Charley and Edie Harper; Chautauqua County en Plein Air, and Beauty Seen is Never Lost: Margaret Braun’s Birds.

While visiting RTPI during Doors Open Jamestown, don’t forget to be on the lookout for the information you’ll need to compete in the virtual scavenger hunt and the chance to win one of four baskets of goodies donated by participating locations.
