Spark Bird Program with Jennifer Lodi-Smith

Please join Jenn Lodi-Smith, Ph.D., for a discussion about the Spark Bird Project! She will be joined by artists featured in the current exhibition, Hope is the Thing with Feathers: Contemporary Women Nature Artists https://rtpi.org/exhibitions/hope-is-the-thing-with-feathers-contemporary-women-nature-artists/   in order to learn more about their Spark Bird experiences and their insights about birding. Dr. Lodi-Smith is a Professor of Psychology and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. She launched The Spark Bird Project “to help better understand who birders are and who potential birders may be–insights which can help shape how organizations engage with birders to the potential benefit of birders, the birding community, and the birds.
