Memberships

To become a member of RTPI is to join a growing community of people who care deeply about art, nature, and education—and who believe in stewarding the extraordinary legacy of artist and naturalist Roger Tory Peterson, a Jamestown, NY native, whose groundbreaking 1934 A Field Guide to the Birds opened the natural world to generations of nature lovers.

Your membership is a powerful act of support. Every dollar helps us preserve Peterson’s art, archives, and legacy while bringing them to life for today’s audiences, and all memberships are 100% tax deductible. YOUR support makes it possible for RTPI to present several changing exhibitions each year, offer family-friendly programs, host lectures and special events, and create welcoming experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and conservation across all ages.

Membership benefits remain in effect for a full year from the month of purchase. Please review our membership levels and benefits below, then CLICK HERE to become a member and help ensure that Roger Tory Peterson’s vision continues to educate and inspire future generations. If you have any questions, please contact our Development Director Jeanne Fralick at 716-665-2473 extension 226 or jfralick@rtpi.org

Organizational Memberships

Organizational memberships are available to non-profit and government service agencies for their staff and program participants when they use Roger Tory Peterson Institute (RTPI) programs or facilities in furtherance of their mission. Benefits include free building admission, member discount rates for programs and a 10% discount rate on facility rentals and Gift Shop purchases.

RTPI requests no more than a 1:4 ratio between staff and program participants per visit. Regretfully, we cannot accept appointments from organizational members on Mondays or Tuesdays. Museum hours are Wednesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sundays 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

The cost for an Organizational Membership is $160. Please contact Jeanne Fralick at 716-665-2473 extension 226 or jfralick@rtpi.org for more information.
